I noticed yesterday afternoon their transmitter went off and on again a
few times. Today as I write this they are breaking up every few minutes
it seems. Transmitter power seems to be going up and down when that
happens.
Certainly is relevant to rec.radio.shortwave(?)
640 kHz is... ah... well, you get the idea.
I have no idea what you mean.
The AM broadcast band in just below the lowest SW band and uses the same
type of modulation the international broadcaster use.
Higher the frequency, lower the wavelength: shortwave... nuffink to do
with "type of modulation".
I take it you have
a problem discussing AMBCB in this news group?
- Ah, um, gee... it certainly is outside the parameters
- of a "shortwave" group.
-
- Dat's the name: rec.radio.SHORTWAVE.
-
- But then, to be fair, a huge proportion of the pap that gets posted
to
- the group doesn't have any connection to radio, so mebbe we should
- sing praises of whatever.
-
- I sort of get the idea that 640 is "mediumwave".- Hide quoted text -
