Off Topic- Veterans Day.
A guy who used to live next door to (before them lesbians took over that
house) me, he had to retire out of the U.S. Army because of
diabetes.About six years ago he said his monthly Army checks were about
$1,400.00 each month. If I had stayed in the U.S.Army for twenty years, I
would be getting half of my regular pay.If I had stayed in the Army for
thirty years, I would be getting three fourths of my regular
pay.Depending on what my Rank would have been, pay would be more or
less.
A friend of mine, Lee V. Russell III (he lives in Clinton,Mississippi,
about five miles West of doggy's couch) retired out of the Mississippi
Army National Guard, an office he worked in on Riverside Drive. He isn't
crazy like I am, I suppose he retired a General, he was a good friend of
my older brother.Another buddy of mine (he isn't crazy like I am either)
a year older than I am, retired out of the U.S.Navy, about thirty years
or more.He served four years on the U.S.S.Ticonderoga and the rest in
the U.S.Navy Reserve, that old white painted building that looks like a
Navy Ship Bridge (or whatever they call it) on Jefferson Street in
beautiful down town Jackson.Sometimes, I wonder if I should have stayed
in the U.S.Army.I can still see that big REUP sign at Fort Hood (HELL ON
WHEELS) now.
