They are. We (as in "my family") has a place in northern Michigan, and the
folks there are very nice and quite friendly, even to "fudgies."

Well, you should add fancy, sparkling new certificates of
accomplishment to your website to reflect the fact that you have
visited Michigan, have family in Michigan, are able to spell
"Michigan", have talked to at least one other person from Michigan,
etc.
