traveling-wave antennas. Their currents are primarily:
I(x,t) = Io*cos(kx-wt)
A 1/2WL dipole is a standing-wave antenna. It's current is
primarily:
I(x,t) = Io*cos(kx)*cos(wt)
There's no confusion except in your mind.
