G'day Guys,

While listening to the 40m hams trying to catch VA7MLW Canadian sailing
solo run the world, the band is total washed out with this spectrum
noise. I have a recording of this BLOODY annoying spectrum noise,
which I'm sure is OVER HORIZON RADAR or something very similar, can
anyone else please confirm this ?

Sounds like a digital transmission mode like AMTOR.

Nope.

Maybe digital but guaranteed NOT to be AMTOR, PACTOR OR G-TOR. These are
"linked" modes, with a pause between transmissions to wait for the ACK
or NAK from the other station. All of the TOR modes sounds sort of like
a cricket -- nothing at all like the signal in question sounds.

Yeah like you know anything bozo. There are AMTOR modes that are raw
that sound just like what I heard. You have to be a fricking moron to
tell me what I heard on the radio. You qualify.
