I've got a lot of great websites and information on the questions I've
posted about Short Wave Radio. *Now if I can just remember all the
particulars, I'll be in good shape for the test. *Just wanted to say
thanks to everybody who chimed in. *I appreciate the help.!!!
Good luck! I hope to run into you on 20 meters sometime.

Well, next testing opportunity is this Friday nite and it's not
looking real good. *Do you knoow what VDC stands for?? and I'm still a
little lost on how to figure out transformer power.
Thanks.
"VDC" is a Three-Letter Abbreviation with multiple meanings
VDC -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VDC
Most Likely - Volts of Continuous Current (Direct Current)
* For Modern Soild State Equipment it would be the
DC Power Supply Voltage(s).
* For Old-Time Tube {Valve} Radio Equipment the DC "Plate"
Voltage of the Transmitter or more specifically the Plate Voltage
{Plate Current} of the Output Finals of the Transmitter or RF
Power Amplifier -aka- Linear Amplifier.
