Default Mitsubishi block madifications?

Dave Bullock wrote:
Hi Homebrewers,
Has anyone ever seen information on modifing the innards of Mitsubishi
M67730's.
The top comes off really easily and the input and output filters (which have
series inductors and caps to ground) seem to have several positions for
fitting the capacitors as though the block is quite wideband and the filters
set the bandpass.
Just an idea that these 30 Watt 170MHz units may easily be moved down onto
2m?
Has anyone attempted this?
Thanks in anticpation
Dave

Dunno about modifying them, but some of them will go a bit out of the
specified freq range, with a bit less gain/power output.
I have a 6W 420-450mhz module that works up past 467mhz,and still makes
4-5W output.
