Top it off with Kiwa is really not so good as it's reputation. As
I've stated a few times, I know someone with a wellbrook (1530), Kiwa,
and Quantum. Once in a while the Quantum (old version) bests the other
two antennas, but it is amazing how most of the time a Wellbrook does
the job. This all assumes you don't need the filtering these loops
provide, i.e. the radio isn't crap.

You can tweak the reception by tilting the Quantum, but the Wellbrook
never seems to benefit from tilting. Rotation yes, but not tilting.

I can't vouch for the optional longwave and tropical band Quantum
loops. Remember, though, the wellbrook has a large aperture, which
these ferrite loops don't have. If you have the space, I think the
wellbrook rocks. But if you need something on your desk, the Quantum
is the way to go.
