I thought NPR stood for National Petroleum Radio since they receive
most of their funding from the oil industry. Yet another example of
disguised payola.
Anyone who gives a penny to PBS et.al. during their frequent fund
drives is a sucker. Thanks to big oil's money they don't need it, but
they'll sure take it. Plus it sustains the mirage that they are
advocates on behalf of the public interest.
Check out the corporate names as the credits roll by next time you
watch a PBS program - Exxon-Mobil, Shell, Archer Daniel Midlands,
Merck et.al., virtually all the globalist transnational corporate
heavyweights that are destroying the earth, the water, the air, the
middle class, the world.
Corporations don't give money away without expecting something in
return and NPR and PBS oblige. They are just more sophisticated about
doing so than the other networks.

What you say could well be true. However, I have seen some, if not many,
programs that were NOT flattering to Big Oil, Pharms or the current
administration. I'm curious to hear your explanation of this apparent
contradiction.
