ft-530, IC-T90A battery packs
FNB-27 Carefully crack the weld all the way around, slit through the
label, pry with screwdriver from the bottom between the pack inside and the
plastic wall. beware of shorts and sparks. The pack is usually glued with
silicon or monkey snot to the sides. If you don't screw up the top rails
all should be well. New pack can be sandwiched with a little silicone
cement to the sides. Don't worry about the cracked welds.

Does anyone have any experience with changing the batteries in a FT-530
pack? Mine are all FNB-27's 12v 1100mAh packs. Also has anyone seen any
long lasting packs for the IC-T90A?
