Mike,

Your Subject-Line Reads :
The end is near...117535khz 'trunews'

? 117,535 kHz ? {117.535 MHz} is above the FM Radio
Broadcast Band in the AirBand {VHF} 108~137 MHz
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airband

Well, it was either:

A) A slip of the finger
B) An unnoticed stroke
C) Metrification being unkind to me
D) The tuner program rebelling and giving me misinformation.
E) The number '5' demanding more attention in my life
F) A badly tuned radio with a much too finely adjusted and completely
unnecessary .5 at the end. Should they ban adjustments under 1kHz?
G) A weird harmonic showing up in the Yaesu 5000 and I forgot which
radio I was using. The tuning hand is quicker than the eye.
H) The Internet is out to get me and changing what I send during transit

A number of other possibilities exist, but I don't want to go there.

What exactly have you got against 0.500 kHz, anyway? Get bitten by one?
