scope of the examples to a 50 ohm environment.
Those imputed powers are therefore whatever an
ideal 50 ohm directional wattmeter indicates.


You seem to be saying that the answers would be
completely different if you chose a different
impedance for the non-existant transmission line.

Or even for the one wavelength line.

That does not make a very robust explanation.
