I can certainly recall a war going on there. It will never end.

MADISON — Up to 40 percent Wisconsin National Guard soldiers may be
headed overseas next year, its leader said.

Brigadier Gen. Don Dunbar said 3,200 soldiers are expected to be
mobilized to Iraq in early 2009. A few other Guard units might also get
deployed during the year, he said.

Thirty-five percent to 40 percent of the Guard's 10,000 nearly soldiers
could be gone at once, he said.

The real 'problem is not the US Military or the National
Guard and Reserves {Citizen Soldiers}.

The "Problem" is the US Congress and the Number
of Active Duty Personal in the US Military : Man Power
{Staffing} Levels for a Global War on Terror.

During Vietnam a War in a Single Country & Region
the US Military had a much larger Active Duty Staffing
Level of 3.4 Million Personal.

Now with the Global War on Terror with Active
Conflict in Two Counties & Two Different Regions
the US Military had a greatly reduced Active Duty
Staffing Level of only 1.4 Million Personal plus the
National Guard and Reserves.

That is a Big 2.0 Million Personal Staffing Short-Fall.

The US Congress has Failed to Act to Staff the
US Military to Fight the Global War on Terrorism.

Between Iraq, Afghanistan and other Nations
where Anti-Terrorist Deployments are on-going.
the US Military has around 250,000 Troops
In-Country. With a 50% Reserve Factor that
wold bring the neccessary Force Increase to
around 375,000 Personal.

The US Congress should have Increased; and still
needs to Increase the US Militiary Active Duty
Force Level by around 375,000 Personal to
effectively Fight the Global War on Terror.

Since September 11, 2001 the US Congress has
Failde to Act and continues to Fail to Act to Insure
that the US Military is Staffed to Protect the
American People in the Global War on Terror.

It's Ain't Clinton or Bush or who ever is the next US
President : It is the US Congress Be They Republican
or Democrat who is Not Providing for an Adequate
Defense of the America and Protection of All Americans.

The US Congress is the Problem with the Inadequate
Size of the US Military for the Global War on Terror.
