At GBP 25 [~US$ 49] for Package that weighs 5~7 Pounds :

[ ] Is It Air Mail : Expect the Package in a Few Days.
-or-
[ ] Is It Surface/Ship Mail : Expect the Package in a Few Weeks.

The eBay Seller wants to Charge GBP 38 {~US$ 75}
for DHL from the UK to the US.

Would DHL be any faster than the Royal Post ?

i want to know ~ RHF

- Royal Mail has both airmail and seamail at different rates.
- You must specify AIRMAIL, which is probably what the
- GBP 25 is for, but check and make sure.

JP - The GBP 25 would seem to Indicate Air, but...

- I have had lots of stuff Royal Airmail from UK with no problems.

- I have been under the impression, having received
- several small parcels from the UK, that Royal Mail
- (ParcelForce) may not exceed 2 Kg (4.4 lbs.)

BAD - That is what I have Read Too.

2000g - Small Packets - Rest of World - £21.07

And the Item is way-too-big to be sent as a Letter
1600g - Letters - Rest of World - £25.00

The Seller did not use the word "AirSure" to describe the
Royal Mail (UK) Service -but- that too has a 2 Kg Limit.

They use the word 'priority' several times to describe
"AirSure" but do not say it is Global Priority Mail

The eBay Seller seams to unable to Answer the simple
Question with one word Answer : 'air' or 'surface'

The USPS "Priority Mail International"
-formerly- Global Priority Mail; seams to offer more
flexible delivery options at a lower price.
