P.S. Rush is indeed the Hindenburg (a Nazi gas bag), but if it is true
he had severe(?) back pain, it is very easy to get addicted to
legitimately prescribed pain meds.
Only if one has a defective personality. I've been so acute I had to
crawl around on the floor of the clinic, got huge amounts of
hydrocodone, and quit very easily when the time came. I never got high
on the stuff and never abused the privilege of access to narcotics.

Slow down guys. i didn't mean to start a firestorm here. Ace, i carry
about 4 oz of steel in my side and back from the war. back then they
gave me codeine. i couldn't stand it. when i had my shoulder repaired
about 3 years ago, they gave me oxy. i took one, and after getting up
off the floor, i flushed the rest. i just can't take anything stronger
than aspirin or tylenal. but, that's just me. the part of rush i didn't
like was the hot air he pushed out about the same thing he was doing.
the man does too much spin for me. when i was at Pitt, he called himself
cristie, or something like that. he DJ-ed a lot of parties for the frats
back when he worked in Pittsburgh. so, i got to meet him, as a lot of the
students did. i don't care about the guy one way or the other. just
don't lie to me. life is too short to worry about the small stuff. we
got big trouble in the land i love, and i don't see things getting
better real soon. people got to see, right or left, they are mostly
the same. we the people- need to do something to change things around
here. and soon. i don't have the answers, and i can't find anyone
in power that does. so, instead of fighting with each other here, lets
try to come up with a direction we follow. i may be too old to fight,
but i can still take to the streets and protest. i still believe in the
Constitution. and i'm tired of people crapping on it. so, please guys,
we need ideas, solutions, not fighting.
just mt take on things.
