Default Microsoft Taking Official Petitions to Keep XP Alive

True, but neither ADS, Orcad, Protel DXP, or PCAD run on that platform. The
cheaper under 1000 dollar programs might, but none of the heavy hitters.
Still, Linux is my favorite operating system. No bloatware with that
platform, no gigantic system requirement that Microsoft requires. Linux has
great potential.

Adolescence? Prepubescence?

Probably is. A simple google search for "linux electrical engineering"
gets lots of hits.
