I'm new to amateur radio.
I just passed my Extra Class test. (100%)
I need an antenna tuner for my G5RV-E dipole.
I'm running an ICOM IC-718 HF transceiver.
I was wondering if any one had some recommendations.
I don't have a lot of money so I'm on a tight budget.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My solution was to build my HF antennas so that they do not require a tuner
and its attendant losses.

Helpful post, Dale!

Okay, Howard, the G5RV in in it's many incarnations does need a tuner
for multi-band operations.

I recommend one of the MFJ 94XX series tuners. They are very
inexpensive. The caveat is that you may have to tighten a screw down
here or there to get it running perfect. MFJ does have a decent
warranty, and return policy to it's credit. I am using a 949E tuner at
the present time.

You might consider at some point going to a general purpose dipole,
which is as much wire as you can hang - within limits, feed it with
ladder line, and use the tuner.

But your G5RV, and tuner will do well for you.
