I understand - T-Storms at lower elevations here in CA can be fairly
dry, due to many factors. Still plenty of electrical discharge,
though - although not like I remember from the Texas-OK area, or
especially New England, where some of the most electrically potent
storms occur. I recall more than a few storms where the lightning
flashed at a staccato rate for upwards of an hour, not just in-cloud,
but powerful and terrifying Cloud-Ground discharges that would rattle
the foundations. It was wonderful! :-)
