Tropical Storm Gustav is forecast to be a Cat 1 hurricane sometime tomorrow,
Tuesday, August 26 as it approaches the island nation of Haiti. The Hurricane
Watch Net will activate Tuesday, August 26 at 0800 EDT/1200UTC on 14.325Mhz. We
ask that all available amateur radio stations in the affected area of Haiti and
eastern Cuba please report in to the Hurricane Watch Net with your weather
reports (observed or measured) and that you be prepared to work with us through
the forecast period of severe hurricane conditions in your location.
