The National Lampoon is satire, as is Jon Stewart. Satire (look it up)
is an extremely powerful form of topical commentary. But you need two
things:

1. a sufficiently developed intellect

and

B. a sense of humor



Satire is not reportage of fact.

Credibility is not a function of effective satire. It's a
function of accuracy of reported fact.
