I recently bought an HRO-Senior with a power supply that does not match that

It probably is the companion of a more recent HRO version, or of another
receiver though probably still National.

Can anybody help me to identify it? It can be seen athttp://www.qsl.net/i0jx/power_supply.jpgTheRectifier tube is type 80.

Thanks & 73

I believe it is a homebuilt power supply. and A very nice looking
one..As I recall ,the old doghouse supply was difficult to work on,
created a bit of heat and was probably not one of Nationals better
designs. If it works good use it and appreciate it.I say..W4PQW

The transformer and choke? have a 'National' look to them??????
Anybody agree?
An 80 rectifier suggests late 1930s?
