In the early 60's when 4 VEH from Haiti was on 1035, a number of NE Ohio
DXers, myself included, heard it well enough to ID the Kreyol broadcasts
around noon local time in deep winter.

1035 is near the middle of the AM band: 1610 is approaching shortwave.

DX....DX... Oh that is what we did before night time IBOC.
