I noticed that Radio Shack has a digital capable scanner on sale until
Christmas, called the PRO-106, for $400. What is the difference between
the PRO-106 and the PSR-500? The only difference I can see is the PRO-106
has a little wider coverage around VHF-High T band and it doesn't come with
a AC power adapter and PC cable adapter.

Also, the PRO-106 speaker is supposedly a little tinning but at least it on
the bottom of the scanner. How is this OOUI paradigm different from my
