I think my Vizio 32LCD HDTV has a panel made in Taiwan,
although such information is hard to find or confirm.

It's possible that the Korean companies have farmed out manufacturing by
now.. the standard of living here has gone up considerably in the past 20
years, and so it becomes economically advantageous for them to go to
countries with cheaper labor costs. Seems a lot of "Korean" products are now
made in the PROC instead of the ROK..
