No, really, I have no clue as to where to start. There is no signal, the
tuning dial doesn't deflect at all as I go across the scalle, and there is
no background FM hiss.

I mean, could it be as simple as a bad tube? I cleaned all the switches
with Deoxit, that quieted them down, but didn't help the FM.
