Harold, I have no affiliation with Hexacon... or do I sell their
equipment. However, we do use their equipment... and it has proven to
be much more reliable than Weller stuff. I guess you get what you pay
for. Not surprising I guess.


Looking at some of your solder joints it shows you don't use a Weller,
perhaps you should?

I thought I was the only one to notice the over-cooked solder blobs. I do
better than that w/ lead-free solder on Rogers PCBs w/ my Weller solder
station. But then, I've been doing it for decades. And, while some other
brands have failed us repeatedly, I've seen only ONE Weller station have to
be tossed out. The way I see it, they're relatively inexpensive AND they
last.
