rebranded.

Those were some of the observations McDowell provided Wednesday in a
speech to The Media Institute in Washington, which is a strong
opponent of the doctrine.

Talk radio and public broadcasting existed before then the same as they
do now. *It just served to moderate unbalanced extremism. *As long as
poor little El Rushbo occaisionally takes calls from people who disagree
with him, he'll be OK.
