It will make a marvellous receiver in the $3k range
Packed with features and firmware upgradeable.
The manual is in English .pdf format and about 15 MB

Looks to be very nice, however, at this point in time I rather doubt that I'd
have that much to gain by spending $3k to hear something perhaps only measured
by lab equipment.

I am of course awash in quality receivers here at the moment with the Drake R7,
R8, R8A and R8B. And my limitation, at the moment, is not a lack of ability to
hear the DX, but rather the issue of the DX no longer being on, the DX never
being on, and/or simple propagation issues which most likely are not going to be
solved by plunking down $3k.

If I were new to the hobby, and had say only one receiver, then I might be
inclined to pop for something new, but not at this stage of the game. At the
moment, I don't think there are any countries on the NASWA Country List
currently on that I have not heard, at least that currently come to mind.

My biggest problem at the moment is trying to extract QSL's (veries for those in
Glendale) from stations (and countries) that are currently on (I am, primarily,
a country hunter), fairly widely heard, but simply don't wish to answer reports!

I swear by, not at, Drake receivers.

And, as always, don't do business with The Huntington Investment Company.
