Its not that eazey .. only takes one to *get in .. then your
flooded ... I sometimes *see lots of join requests for the uk500khz
group .. never thought 500 Khz was that popular ..I did have it open
for a while .. but had to *close post to members


Is that frequency still in use for emergency comms, or for some other purpose

No its no longer used for cw comms .. but *still has navetext on 518
and 490 ? or round there


uk has issued * 501 to *504 *as a experimental band *.. about 40
licence issued .. lots of beacons slightly hf located in europe ..
belgium also *has allocation for hams .. cw only .. not many active
