INDCON ’09 March 12, 13 & 14

INDCON is flagship event of the Department of Industrial Engineering,
Anna University, Chennai. Having its roots in the early 90’s, INDCON
has stood the test of time among the plethora of college symposiums.
Among the usual events like paper presentations INDCON has always
fostered innovation through events like PRODOMANIA, INNOVATE among
others. This year it is being planned on a massive scale, with huge
prize amount and a staggering number of events, the main focus being
on having something for everyone who participates in the symposium.
From the really technical events to the ‘Letting your hair down‘
events like SHOWDOWN and events for the part-time students, we have
made sure that no one is left out.

CONCLAVE – For the first time in INDIA a conclave of Industrial
Engineers experts from all over the country will congregate at the IE
CONCLAVE to share their thoughts on emerging IE trends. This event is
expected to be a huge hit among the research scholars.

PRODAMANIA – Prodomania is design and present event which endeavors to
challenge your designing skills to come up with new products /ideas
and stimulates your creative ability in coming up with improvements
for existing products.

INNOVATE – Combines ‘Contraptions’ with ‘Rumble in the junk’ will
surely set the adrenaline pumping in the hearts of its participants
and the viewers alike.

INDUSTRIAL STRATEGIST – For all you management geeks out there this is
THE event to be in.
An interesting array of Quizzes are also being lined up and the word
is going around that even die hard Quiz buffs are going to find these
ones a hard nut to crack.
