Default Greetings from Vancouver,WA/Portland, Ore.

I live in Rochester, NY and I enjoy MW. *My favorite radio stations
are the ones I haven't logged yet. I drove an old beater truck around
in November and collected a few hundred stations. *I figured out that
collecting raDIO stations for my logbook would be easier on the road. Perhaps I will post some of my logs from my last road trip and you can guess my route. I learned that the cockpit is a very busy place. Logging radio stations while driving around and camping is really a 2 person operation.

I wonder if you have logged WSM 650 from the northwest. They have a
great looking antanna tower down there and always put a good signal
into Rochester.

I live in Vancouver, Washington and I enjoy mediumwave and shortwave.
My favorite mediumwave stations are 1190 KEX and 910 KTRO. My favorite
shortwave stations are Radio Australia and the BBC.

KEX and KTRO aren't much of a DX challenge from Vancouver. *You want a
challenge some time, try to dx KOMA (or whatever they are called these days)
out of Oklahoma City under 1520 in Clackamas. *As a more or less lifelong
Portlander, I enjoyed DX'ing a lot of southern US and Mexican stations,
along with most anything you want in western Canada. *I have picked up WWL
in New Orleans from my driveway in SE Portland.. *May not be so easy to get
some of them anymore, with IBOC running on so many stations.- Hide quoted text -
