I have a good 'copy' of the manual for the 830/4 that came with the
Rx.
And yes I've seen that article by Gerry O'Hara. Very informative.
But I may need some help later! So thanks indeed for the replies.

I have saved, I think, a copy of the the manual (or at least a link
to) the manual for the 770R but it's in an unusual format. So waiting
for my son to return in a week or two, to help me print it.

I also have an 840C. (That's an AC?DC model with a chassis isolated
from the cabinet). It's off a Canadian Coastguard icebreaker and in
'hard shape'. But at least it has a case!

Neither the 830 pr 770 have a cabinet! So in the extremely unlikely
event of seeing/hearing about one; please advise.
In meantime know a local tinsmith of above average ability who will
make 'partial cabinets' to cover top and rear.
