Aw. Cut that crap. There was a lot of fraud and corruption in
the mortgage businesses but that wasn't the real problem.

Great Depression 2 was caused by forgetting the purposes of
government regulations.

The anarchists, led by Republican "conservatives" much
aided by ignorant Democrats, "deregulated" everything.

Among them was the financial system. Specifically the
repeal of Glass-Steagal, the law that kept banks out of
the speculation business. And no regulation of the very
large financial instutions (such as AIG).

Anarchism is stupid. It ignores history.
