favorites, but I really miss the made up news that used to come from
Cuba, the USSR, etc. The kooktards like you, Telemundoh, and kookpages
likehttp://stargods.org/havemorethan made up for them though. It's
like finding a treasure chest of comedy almost every day.

I find fanatics on both sides of the political spectrum posting to radio
groups very silly, to put it mildly. Way too silly to take seriously,
Telemundoh.

you enjoy the BCB at all? You have the AD DX sloper like, imagine
that.:-) I am familiar with your Hammarlund HQ 100.........I saw it
live and in person ONE TIME and I wanted it so bad, you have the one
that is modded out, that's cool.

I had an HQ-100 for a while, it certainly was an upgrade (at the time) from my
Knight-Kit Star Roamer, my first swl receiver.

Well, once I had a minty HQ-180A that I picked up for a song, along with the
matching speaker.

I've considered getting another, but other than nostalgia's sake, it won't do
anything for me here at present.

My problem here currently, is that a few stations simply don't answer reports!

Hee hee- some stations putting the jack to you? Have you used your
"powers of persuation?" I saw a HQ 180 being used once, I was told it
was the "Bandcruiser" amongst the Hammarlund models. Maybe that model
wasn't operating the way it should have been, but I know for a fact
that at least...on the BCB at least it didn't touch my 129X with the
Heathkit Q-Multiplier, and his tower had mine by at least 25 ft. But
it did shine on 60 meters and that made me want to have it.
