Fred Phelps is no kind of legitimate representative of Christianity.

Phelps is in his own class. I've never heard of any pastor preach the
type of crap he does, and like Brenda Ann, I am surprised he has lived
as long as he has.

Amen... takes a real Darwin Award nominee (he can't win, he already has
issue...) to go around picketing and calling people names at a military
funeral... those guys have WEAPONS.. and even though they don't have live
rounds in them.. that doesn't mean someone doesn't have a few rounds in
their pockets...
