I lived in Vancouver for a year and was impressed at how early into the
year that the cherry blossoms came out. Snow was nearly non-existent and
the winter relatively warm.
That Pacific longshore current tends to keep things warm along the coast. We
DO get cold shots down out of Siberia from time to time, though.
I'm a transplanted Portlander... weather's not a lot different from either
Vancouver (WA or BC)
I have to admit that I miss the area. From my point of view, the winters
were great and the summers didn't get too warm. I'm a big fan of the
oceans and the mountains which was a killer combo in the Vancouver area.
I didn't have any luck with TP mediumwave reception but a trip out to
the west side of Vancouver Island might have solved that problem.
