With the proper crystals for the SWBC bands, an R-4B makes a very nice receiver.

*I had an R-4C for a while, it didn't work too well, it needed work. I
was able to sell it almost instantly for a nice profit. I would like to
find another one, that actually works well, again some day. But I would
rather have a Hammarlund HQ-180A instead.

Pretty good site there Steve. That amount of money for the 180 is
crazy though IMO.
