Let's add to the rationality.

Is it not equally valid (or equally obsurd, depending upon your viewpoint)
to believe either that God has always existed and created the universe(s) or
that the universe(s) have always existed? Fact is, we humans do not begin to
have the mental facilities to understand infinity as anything more than a
base concept.

Exactly Brenda Ann, that is why when someone (and it always happens
because they know you can give only one answer) comes back with "well,
who created God?" As you said, the human mind is incapable of thinking
about the word "infinity." It's fun for a moment to think about it,
but your mind hits a wall because it's incapable of thinking about it.
