It is completely "fly-by-wire";no rudder, no stick, no pedals. You
use a video game controller to fly the thing.

It does have trimmers that can be used in an emergency, according to an
FAA spokesperson.

incident. Oceans have currents, the atmosphere above them has winds. The
plane could have done a full vertical nose dive and the floating pieces
would, 30 hours later, be widely dispersed.
