Uh, Stalin, regardless of his own atrocities, was fooled like everyone
else signing treaties with Germany during the '30s. Hitler was at odds
with Stalin during the entire last half of the '30s.

Right-wing industrialists propped up German military infrastructure.
Now what did Stalin do for Hitler? Don't demean the 15 to 20 million
Soviets that died fighting Hitler, either. A toll far, far higher than
the US had to endure.
