Default Shocking Experience

Many years ago, I read somewhere that smart electricians (the ones who
want to live to be a ripe old age) always put one hand behind their back
when they are working on high voltage things.That is suppose to be so
they won't fry/zap both of the main arteries going to their heart.
When I was a kid, we used to dare other kids to stick their fingers into
a light bulb socket.That was the first time I got zapped, about sixty
something years ago.
