groups that. I never did understand that thinking.
Just asking.:-)

The email programs don't handle Usenet properly and are difficult or
don't have at all useful features that most newsreaders have. Not unlike
wearing ill fitting shoes.

There are free programs out there so there is no reason not to use a
newsreader.
