It is unlawful to sell uncertified/type accepted equipment. It is NOT
unlawful to own or use such gear in a legal manner in the appropriate
amateur frequency allocated band while adhering to FCC rules and regs
regarding RF emissions for that particular band and license class.

The units were advertised in a web catalog for sale as new radios for use
from 137-174 MHz and 400-470 MHz. _ OOPS!!
