Default Some July 4th Logs

CFRX, Toronto, Canada, on 6070 at 0520 UTC in English. Relaying CFRB
on 1010. M interviewing curator of museum featuring vintage aircraft.
SIO-354, much better than //1010. This signal on 6070 varies greatly
during the day, but this time slot usually produces the best signal.
(Bryant-KY, Sony ICF-2010, July 4)

Barnyard Radio, US Pirate, on 6930 at 0545-0610+ UTC in English.
Virtually non-stop eclectic music mix, including mx from Black
Sabbath, Black Flag (punk), and several songs with silly lyrics that
I’ve never heard before. M announcer with IDs between songs. SIO-343,
peaking at about 0555 and fading afterwards. Still going at 0610
tuneout. (Bryant-KY, Eton E1XM, July4)

R. Australia, Brandon, Australia on 9660 at 0615 UTC in English. Two M
with live Australian Football League coverage. //12080, also Brandon.
SIO-343, much better than //12080. (Bryant-KY, Eton E1XM, Sony
ICF-2010, July 4)

R. New Zealand Int’l, Rangitaiki, New Zealand on 11725 at 0533 in
English. YL interviewing accented M abt elections, constitution and
parliament. SIO-243, but seemed to be improving. (Bryant-KY, Eton
E1XM, July 4)

R. New Zealand Int’l, Rangitaiki, New Zealand on 6170 at 0955 in
English. Program of vintage music until TOH, then ID by YL, into NZ
news by same lady. Several items about swine flu deaths in New
Zealand. SIO-353+, very listenable. (Bryant-KY, Eton E1XM, Sony
ICF-2010, July 4)
