You refer to the unprotected coverage of KPFK in the San Diego area,
obviously.

When the FCC established classes of license (A, B and C) with specific
height and power limits they found many existing stations which had greater
than the maximum now allowed. These stations were allowed to continue to
operate at superpower, but they would only be protected to the extent of the
coverage of a non-superpower facility.

Under the terms of our treaty with Mexico, those protections were honored,
and XHLNC in Tijuana was licensed respecting the protected contours of KPFK,
which did not include any of San Diego county.

Nobody jammed KPFK. Nobody is a "cabron" in this case... all operations were
in accordance with FCC rules.
