Agree 100% with Peter Sissons. BBC top management has, IMHO, lost its
marbles They screwed English broadcasts to N.America some time ago,
along with RNW and DW, all of which were political decisions, not
strictly technical decisions.I Don't bother to listen to any of them
on the Web. I sit in front of a computer too much anyway, so why would
I not use my radios to hear SW broadcvasts ??
They made dumb decisions and as such have lost a very large audience.
The inmates are in charge of the asylum...

Why waste all that electricity for a couple thousand hobbyists in N.A?

I see no challenge in receiving a 250 KW broadcast from the Caribbean.
