It's available, free, at
http://www.microwavemac.com/Site/Smith_Chart.html. I noticed that the
documentation file, in Rich Text Format with attachments, is about twice as
large as the program itself!
He also has a program for designing Butterworth or Chebyshev filters, at
http://www.microwavemac.com/Site/Filter_Designer.html.
Both programs require Mac OS 10.5 (Leopard) and presumably work under 10.6
(Snow Leopard) as well. I checked, and the Smith Chart program refuses to
run under Mac OS 10.4 (Tiger). I wouldn't be surprised if, with a little
fiddling, the programs couldn't be made to run under Linux.
