Hah,
I have had WWV on at the same time as my cable box and found up to 30
seconds difference. Where does the extra time come from?

I don't know, but I just checked again and my Cable Box is dead on
with WWV.

Comcast? I don't have a box since I don't watch much television but
their channel listings channel is usually off by about 30 seconds.
Another channel that shows local weather is about 15 seconds better but
neither is dead on.
I get WWV at 2.5, 5.0, 10.0, 15, 20, and 25 MHz so I get the full spread
at different times of day. 2.5 and 25 are the hardest to get here.
