The Dems handed the republican't party (in 2001) a country that was in
the black for the first time in many years and they ****ed it up pretty
bad but yet blame the last 6 months on the Dems.

* *Bill Clinton 'balanced the budget,' on paper only, with a 10 year
projection by including the Social Security 'trust fund' in the General
Revenue fund.

* *There was no surplus. There's not been a surplus. We were no more 'in
the black,' than we were prepared for 9/11.

* *What was handed Bush in 2000 was a country in debt, with a
demoralized military and a defense system riddled with roadblocks, and
institutionalized ignorances just as was experienced by Roosevelt in
1940. The difference was that Roosevelt created his problems. Bush's
were inherited.

flat out of countrol, and government intrusion in the private sector is
at a all time high.
