Both, but mainly AM DX. Trying to get as many states as I can!

I love the Crane radios, I've had a CC Radio since 2000. On AM DX, I'm
finding that the HD hash is making a noisy mess.

Here in the Ma, I was able to pull in WLW Cincinatti every night for
years so clearly on my CC Radio, it was as if were a local
station.For the last two years or so, I'm just getting a hash sound,
unless atmospheric conditions are perfect.

On my restored tube radios, I use a Select A Tenna.

I have that one also, the passive loop? Tried that with my boatanchors,
HQ-145XC, and HE-30 and it produced zilch! Only the long wire works
with them. The Select A Tenna works well with the CCrane, and with my
old Knight StarRoamer.
